Prepare the surgical site meticulously by following the standard procedures. Ensure the skin is impeccably clean and thoroughly dry.

Make a precise incision along the predetermined incision line.

Carefully insert the wound protector-retractor's green ring into the operative site, ensuring precision.

Diligently check to confirm that no bowel or tissue entrapment has occurred before initiating retraction.

Gently hold the white retraction ring at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions. Lift gently until the green ring is snugly positioned against the peritoneal layer. Flip the outer ring inward or outward to achieve the desired level of retraction.

Precisely position the wound protector-retractor's green ring into the operative site.

To retrieve the wound protector-retractor, simply remove the green inner ring from the peritoneal cavity with ease.
